Since 2006
For the Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Maladie des Travailleurs Salariés (French national health Insurance) I manage the implementation of OpenSource solutions : OCS Inventory NG (Automatic inventory), GLPI (Asset management and Helpdesk) and Pulse2 (Software deployment).
Among the goals of this mission, I mainly keep in mind, the wish to build a robust and long-term solution, by using the official upstream versions and by an active contribution to the projects, to merge our changes, according to the community roadmap. The C.N.A.M.T.S is today one of the biggest references of this projects and probably the most important contributor to GLPI. During this project, I join the developer team of GLPI and of various of its plugins.
1993-2006
Hired as an application developer (dBase, C/win32) at the first years of personal computer, my skills have quickly increase with the growing number of computers and the network installation. After some time working as network administrator (wiring, network hardware, server) and system administrator (Windows, Linux, Aix, SCO, ...), I took the responsibility of the IT service. I was the manager of a 5 technicians team in charge of 700 PC (deployment, support, maintenance) and of a 5 administrators team in charge of the infrastructure (network, servers, applications). If I have managed this teams, keeping a large technical expertise, I also acquired management skills.
1994-2006
Working with the pedagogic team in the IT department of an university, I maintained the technical infrastructure, and progressively took its responsibility. The main goal was to provide the needed tools for the training in a very changing and heterogeneous environment (Windows, Linux, HP-UX). Technology intelligence was a large part of this job.
1990-2004
Involved in the pedagogic animation as a teacher in charge of various training (System, C/C++, Web, Database).
1993-1995

1989-1993
Technical asset management in the Art and Design school of Reims. Computer graphic initiation for the students, working with the pedagogic team.
1987-1988

Since 2006
I maintains more than 130 paquets in the fedora official repository and in EPEL (for Enterprise Linux versions) and co-maintains some important packages (PHP, PEAR, ...). I'm allowed to act on all the packages of the distribution (provenpackager). I also, occasionally sponsor new contributors.
Since 2007
GLPI is the reference (an least, french) of OpenSource asset management software. In my professional activity, I have regularly contributed to the project, working with the community, which, after an evaluation period, had accept me as a core team member. Over the, very important, social experience, I gain skill in collaboration tools for a geographically scattered team.
Since 2012
The PHP extension Community Library provides a repository of most of PHP extensions. I have commit access to the source repository to apply fixes, as I have propose various in the previous years.
Depuis 2005
